I've really admired our D-line coach over the years. Does he have aspirations to be more than a D-line coach or is he happy where he is? Hoping / praying for the later lol.
He's definitely one of the best in football. From my count, Washburn has spent 29 of his 34 years in football coaching the defensive line. I have a feeling that he's quite satisfied there and he gets to do what he loves.

To me, it's quite clear that he's a special coach.
I don't think there is any doubt that Coach Wash is happier than a fox in a hen house, when it comes to coaching D lineman. He would be just as happy coaching kids at your local high school. He's an "old school" coach through and through! Right now he's just trying to get some healthy bodies back with Derrick Morgan, Jacob Ford, Tony Brown, and William Hayes all nursing injuries.
