I would go with Lattimore too, but only in 5th rd or beyond.....he may end up as a free agent. He's had 2 absolutely catatrophic injuries......not just tendonitis or sprains, but considerable injuries.
That being said, I do think you are right that if a nice RB lands to us then we could spend a pick on one. I feel we have far too many needs to take a RB in the first 3 rds, so here are some that I like that are likely to go in the back half of the draft:
-Mike Gillislee, Florida - 5'11" 210#, 4.42 forty. Good instincts. Young. May go as high as the 2nd rd, but will not be there past the 4th.
-Montee Ball, Wisconsin - 5'11" 210#, 4.5-4.6 Slower than Mike, but incredibly durable and powerful.
-Michael Dyer, Ark St. - 5" 9" 210#. Supremely talented, but has a lower grade due to off-field issues.
-Cierre Wood, Notre Dame. - 6'0" 215#. Little bigger and very effective between the tackles
-Knile Davis, Arkansas. 6"1" 226. 4.52. Crazy talented, but coming off an injury.....thus the reason he'll go lower.
