I "want" Locker to "win" it.....not be given it b/c he's the future. I also want to place Locker in the best possible position to succeed. So if that means letting Hass start the first 4-6 games against the Steelers, Patriots, Lions, etc then so be it.
The risk associated with starting at QB too early is much, much higher than the risk associated with starting too late.
