Who's your favorite all-time Titan and why?

  • I've got to go with Bulluck because of what he did on and off the field. Hope he comes back and retires as a Titan someday.

  • As a fairly new fan (Since before the 2008 season, believe it or not my fiancee got me into football) I haven't been around long enough to watch McNair or any other Titans/Oilers greats. But out of the current generation of Titans I have a lot of respect for Cortland Finnegan's game.

It's not just that he's a solid cover corner, it's his willingness to get physical in run support and his hustle to never leave a play on the field. Many times I've seen Finnegan come from the opposite side of the field to finish a tackle.

Cortland is one of my favorites too. His passion for the game is second to none. Props to your fiancee for getting you into football.

  • For the entire team history (fan since the 60's) I'd have to call it a tie b/w McNair and Mathews. My cousin worked at LP when it first opened and always complimented McNair on being such a fine person. He even signed an autograph for me when she was on the elevator with him one time, nice words of encouragement. Mathews just because he's also a class act, and what an anchor and example on how to play football.

  • Since I'm a journalist and have to be unbiased, I'll give you mine in terms of who I enjoyed dealing with the most. Two names really stand out: Derrick Mason and Bruce Matthews. But there are many, many more who have proven to be really great to deal with - Keith Bulluck, Drew Bennett, Chris Sanders, Casey Cramer, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Kevin Dyson, Eddie George, Steve McNair, Kevin Mawae, Craig Hentrich, John Thornton, Peter Sirmon, and some of the current players as well.

TitanInsider: Any closer and you'd be in the huddle.

  • It would have to be mac9... He could make a play when nothing at all was available. Will always remember the giants game in NY... Hated seeing him in that disgusting purple.

  • Keith Bulluck. He's tenacious, has a great work ethic, and handles adversity well. Glad to see him play some tonight but hate seeing him in a Giants uniform almost as much as I despised seeing McNair in purple.

  • Eddie George is the reason this hoosier turned down the home team and started following the Titans. His work ethic, consistency, and overall attitude displayed was exactly what I want in a professional.
