The WRs and TE take the CBs and LBs deep and leave the middle open for a RB. It makes no sense. Sure we don't get beat deep it just means it takes a little longer to score.
They played the bend but don't break defense, so as to not give up the big play. Megatron only had one catch for six yards at halftime. Playing the prevent defense is what got them in trouble late.
That's right but I think the Lions had about 450 yards passing and Magatron ended up with a lot of yards. If it hadn't been for the special team TDs we would have been beaten again. I just hate seeing the Safties so far back. They can give NO run support unless they make the tackle 20 yards down field.
Why are our safties 25-30 yards down field?
