#83 does in fact look to be in trouble. Wright loomed solid and comfortable covering punts today.

Wouldn't necessarily take that to the bank, but it's clear Wright can do the job. Just don't know how much you want your first-round pick getting beat up on punt returns.

I will have to find the exact number, but it can't be much considering he was a 7th round pick.

Mariani has only a $540,000 base for 2012 and a cap figure just over $554,000. By that he should be safe.
