What's funny is that he was the one I was worried about. I still probably would've not chosen him with the 2nd pick, but he looks to be paying off. General McCarthy still is amazing and will anchor our defense for yrs to come.
Ayers is another thing. He's the leading tackler on the team and he's way better this yr than last yr, but he drives be crazy still. He still has a long way to go. He's been out of position a lot this yr, taken poor angles, and still does not wrap up. I almost think that, at times, he would be a better pass rush DE. Although he could easily develop into a fine LB, I wouldn't be adverse to drafting another LB and sticking Ayers hand in the dirt.
