Titans add veteran safety Smith

The Titans have agreed to terms with safety Anthony Smith, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Smith was a third-round pick of the Steelers in 2006 and played in 63 games with the Steelers, Rams, Jaguars and Packers as the Titans continue to flesh out their roster for depth.

Smith had 74 tackles in 2007 with Pittsburgh, his most productive season. He also had two forced fumbles and two interceptions that year.

The Titans continue to tinker with the secondary, adding cornerback Frank Walker and Jordan Babineaux in recent days as well.
