SAN DIEGO _ The “package” that the Titans have in their weekly game plan for tight end Jared Cook finally materalized in Sunday's 33-25 loss.
Later, Cook got free on a deep pattern, but a slightly underthrown ball that got caught in the wind, hit off his hands between the Chargers' 5 and 10-yard lines.
“I should have had it. It hit me, and I should have grabbed it,” a disappointed Cook said.
As for finally getting his chance in the offense, Cook said it was less important than the result of the game.
“It really doesn't matter because we lost. It's always good to get in the game. You've always got to be ready to step up and be ready to play,” Cook said.
