The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with safety Markelle Martin on Friday on a deal that under the NFL's new slotting salary system should be worth around $2.2 million total.
Martin, a sixth-round pick from Oklahoma State, receives a four-year rookie contract with standard base salaries of of $390,000 in 2012, $450,000 in 2013, $570,000 in 2014 and $660,000 in 2015.
Under the slotting system, the signing bonus for Martin should be in the range of $102,000.
Martin, who is expected to help on special teams and vie for a backup safety role, is the third member of the Titans 2012 draft class to come to terms on a contract.
