There may be some good news for the Tennessee Titans, as defensive tackle Jason Jones' knee injury appears to be only a mild sprain.
Jones exited Sunday's 19-16 loss to the Washington Redskins in the first quarter and did not return to the game, watching the second half in street clothes.
Jones has been a valuable contributor at left defensive tackle for the Titans, helping to anchor the team's pass rush and opening up rush lanes for the defensive ends.
It is not known exactly how much time Jones might miss, if any. But when defensive linemen William Hayes, Sen'Derrick Marks and Jacob Ford had knee sprains earlier this season, none of them missed more than two games.
